This is the storing of your website and all the files that go into making it look like it does. They have to be stored on a server so we take care of that for you. Annual Hosting costs from the second year onwards is reduced for both Entry Level hosting and Business Hosting. You'd only need business hosting if you want a forum or a database. Forums have a one off £70 set up charge whilst a database will depend on what you need it to do. Our Hosting is ideal for home users on a budget. Your accounts are powered by Dell Windows 2000 servers located in a secure data centre with multiple connections to the internet providing high speed access to your website. A great value hosting account with 1GB of web space and unlimited email accounts which we can create for you or at a small charge you can have access to a control panel to run things yourself. You will be able to have the email address of your choice (related to your domain name), for example on this website MacsSites I have Mac@MacsSites.co.uk
Your domain name must be applied for, registered and the payment for it maintained, we do all that for you. For and extra £20 we can get another name and maintain that so you have two pages. For example; www.ForcesPoetry.co.uk and also www.ForcesPoetry.com. The main site might be on the .com domain but if anyone types in www.MacsSites.co.uk they will still seem to land on your site.
This is the largest part of the project. We will find out from you what you need or want on your site and our team will work to get things as you want it. We will find appropriate pictures/images and tweak them to work properly in your site. We will test your site and check it is working and linking from page to page and let you test it all prior to it going live.
Your site will need maintaining with little tweaks, different pictures or occasionally a new page. We will complete 6 small changes for you every year in the price. If you have a site for a pub/restaurant which requires constant changes to the menu or something like that, then for a one off fee of £50 we can build in the "Self Edit" facility which gives you a user name and password onto that page which will allow you to logon and edit the words on that page as if you were typing in a Word document, no web development skills required at all.
